"Great company to deal with, really transparent process to get a sum insured report that kept me updated throughout. Report came in much quicker than expected. Would use again!"
An onsite insurance replacement cost assessment by a qualified quantity surveyor, accepted by every major Australian insurer and broker. Choose three-year cover and the figure is revised at Year 2 and Year 3, with nothing to pay at the time.
Both are onsite assessments prepared by a qualified quantity surveyor, and both are available with three-year cover. The difference is how far the detail goes.
Four or more buildings means each one is measured and described separately and the assessor is on site for several hours, so this is a Comprehensive Assessment.

A cross does not mean the item is missing from the Sums Insured Assessment. It means the figure or description is reported for the property as a whole rather than for each building.
Fill in the details below. Within one business day we email the proposal for the option you chose, ready to review and sign online. Then we arrange the inspection with the contact you nominate.
Every year. A revision can be prepared from your existing assessment for up to three years after the inspection, which keeps pace with construction cost movement. Beyond three years the property needs a fresh inspection, because a desk review cannot see extensions, new structures, a change of building use, or upgraded finishes.
It bundles your assessment and its next two annual revisions into a single engagement. You receive a full onsite assessment now, then a revision at each of the following two anniversaries. The revisions are included and there is no fee at the time they are prepared. Bought on their own each revision is + GST, so the cover is materially cheaper than paying as you go.
Not within the cover term. The measurements and building detail from your original inspection carry forward, so a revision needs no site access and no time from you. After three years we do inspect again, because by then the record is old enough that a desk review can no longer stand behind it.
Let us know. An extension, a new outbuilding, a change of use or a significant refurbishment can move a replacement cost well beyond anything escalation would explain, and a revision cannot see it. Three-year cover is priced on the basis that the property is unchanged, so where there has been material work we will tell you whether it can be handled on paper or whether the property should be re-inspected, and what that costs.
A Sums Insured Assessment gives you a defensible total replacement cost for the site, plus a record of how the buildings are built and how they are protected: construction materials, fire services, security, a satellite overview and a photographic record. It covers sites of three buildings or fewer. A Comprehensive Assessment breaks the total down building by building and adds per-building descriptions, use, age and floor areas. From four buildings on a site, it is a Comprehensive Assessment.
Yes. Every report and every revision is prepared by qualified quantity surveyors on the same basis as the original assessment, and is accepted by all major Australian insurers and brokers.
Nothing is due when you book. We email a proposal for you to review and sign; the invoice is issued once you accept it. The Year 2 and Year 3 revisions under three-year cover carry no fee at the time they are prepared.
